Julota Supports Mercy’s Gate Mission to Help Colorado Springs Families in Need

Funds Will Give Families Housing, Food Assistance and More in a Difficult Time

Colorado Springs, CO, October 29, 2020 – Julota supports Mercy’s Gate mission; a software platform used by emergency responders, clinicians, and caseworkers to coordinate care in local communities, has made a donation to Mercy’s Gate in Colorado Springs that will provide basic assistance to 180 Colorado Springs families.

“We are grateful for Julota’s partnership and compassion for those in our community who are struggling in crisis,” said Jason Dilger, Executive Director of Mercy’s Gate. “Without these funds, we wouldn’t be able to meet the needs and offer hope to a family whose main provider has been laid off indefinitely or a single parent who is struggling to juggle all the responsibilities.”

The donation will provide funds to help about 25 households avoid eviction and give utility assistance to other families. The funds will also go to other households for food assistance, household and clothing expenses, help with medical bills and medications, and transportation assistance to help families pay for gas to get to work, school and job interviews.

Scott Cravens, CEO of Julota, believes that the company has a responsibility to respond to the needs of the community during this time when so many are struggling: “Our platform exists to make communities safer and healthier by multiplying the impact of limited community resources and connecting at-risk individuals to vital support partners such as Mercy’s Gate. We, therefore, wanted to give to a charity that is aligned with those goals but is also making a proven difference in our hometown.”

Mercy’s Gate is a faith-based organization whose mission is to “bridge the gap from crisis to hope for our neighbours in need.” Its services are in great demand now as Colorado Springs feels the effects of the health and economic fallout of COVID-19.

“Every one of our neighbours is precious. Every one of them matters,” said Jason Dilger. “It means so much that Julota believes that, too.”
